This event, held at The Quay, Bideford EX39 2HJ, promises an adrenaline-fueled experience for both participants and spectators too.

Schedule and Registration
The triathlon will start at 09:45 am and continue until 14:00. Registration opens bright and early at 07:30 and closes at 09:30.
Be sure to register online as it’s the quickest way to secure your place on the starting sheet. Remember, both British Triathlon and UCI rules apply, so no time trial bikes are allowed, but drafting is permitted. The transition area will be conveniently located at the Quay, Bideford.
The Course
Swim
Starting from Bank End Slipway, swimmers will make their way to The Gig Steps. Competitors will begin in the water, and set off in groups of 20 to manage congestion in and out of the transition area.
Cycle
The cycling leg of the race takes you on a scenic route towards Torrington on the A386. From there, you’ll journey through Weare Gifford, past the golf club, and into Torrington.
Your ride will continue through various landmarks before you make a right turn back into the transition area at the far end of Bideford Quay.
Run
The running portion of the triathlon starts with a trek to Bideford Old Bridge.
From there, you’ll make your way to Clarence Wharf car park, then onto Ethelwynn Close. The route continues onto the Tarka trail towards Instow. At the halfway mark, you’ll return to the finish line via the same route.
