Crab Cottage is an end terrace cottage in the village of Illfracombe, Devon.
It has two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC.
Kitchen includes a dining area and the sitting room has gas central heating with a traditional gas woodburner.
Modern appliances include an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, iPod dock, WiFi and a selection of books, games and DVDs are provided.
The cottage also includes parking 400m away in a public car park and the garden has a patio and furniture. One well behaved dog is welcome. No smoking is allowed. With shops and pubs 2 minutes walk away and 10-30 steps up to it from the street.

This end terrace cottage is situated in the heart of Ilfracombe, on its oldest street. Here you’ll find a comfortable place to relax, with a pleasant sitting room equipped with a gas woodburner, sofa and chairs and rustic exposed beams.

Time spent preparing meals will bring you to the open-plan kitchen diner, where you can cook up a storm. Sit down for a delicious breakfast or entertain for the evening at the dining table.

Upstairs are two bedrooms; a double and a twin. For a peaceful moment in the sun, why not step outside onto the patio area with a glass of something special?

Fantastic! We stayed at Crab Cottage 4th-6th July 2020. It was our first time away since the lockdown following the pandemic. I was so nervous about going away but, Even before we arrived, my mind was put at ease. They emailed to say what changes had been made because of COVID 19 and when we arrived there was hand wash everywhere, new cleaning products as well as a welcome note, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and scones! It was a beautiful home away from home and it allowed us to escape the stress of lockdown etc. The cottage was the perfect size for me, my husband and two kids (age 6&8) and our dog. It had all utensils, pots, pans etc. We all slept so soundly in the comfortable beds & lovely quality bedding. The location was absolutely perfect (just a 2 minute walk to the harbour). The only slight downside was all the steps up to the garden (only one hand rail) so we couldn’t just let the kids & the dog out by themselves. However, they all loved the garden despite the steps. We’re currently staying in a log cabin in Cornwall and, although it’s lovely, we were left no cleaning products, hand wash or anything that might come in handy upon arrival. Crab cottage gets all the stars for thinking of their guests and all their needs (especially during such an anxious time). We would definitely go back. Thank you so much.
