We only stayed one night but Becca was great! Sent us a text warning us about a close by road closure saving us a lot of hassle as she included an alternative route on her text! On arrival, she greeted us with great energy and helped us settling on our motor home. The campsite is lovely, homely and very clean! it has a lovely little lake where you could fish. Beautiful to look at if not fishing. The village is quite close and the pubs there are very nice. We would really recommend this campsite! Thanks Becca!

We had a touring pitch, it was spacious and well drained, during our stay there was some heavy rain. Very pretty fishing pool, stuffed with fish according to a fisher family. Facilities are nice and clean. Short walk into village where there are shops, pubs and chippy. Lovely walk to Hartland Quay via woodland walk, short stretch on the road between Abbey and Stoke Village, there is then footpaths all the way to the Quay which is spectacular. Ignore 1 1/2 mile sign in Hartland as it is still signed 1 1/2 miles from Stoke!

First time on this campsite. Loved it … stayed 5 days. The site was everything you needed, walking distance from the town. Showers were clean and big enough. Nothing was too much trouble for Becca, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. Would definitely t Recommend this site

We love this site. Basic, great price, really quiet. Becca could not have been more helpful. Showers hot, toilets and showers clean. For us, the perfect site. Even got all our washing done and dry.

Came in Feb, out of season. Becca was great (and also unnecessarily apologetic for doing maintenence ready for the summer season – no probs for me, gotta be done at some point 😊). Great toilet block. Clean. Warm showers. Fair price (and a discount for solo campers). Flat pitches. Lots of stars with clear skies. Happy days (well, nights). This is a great location for some lovely walks in a very beautiful part of the world. Hartland Quay area is a must. Nice pubs in Hartland and the local shop is open longer than expected.
