Came in Feb, out of season. Becca was great (and also unnecessarily apologetic for doing maintenence ready for the summer season – no probs for me, gotta be done at some point 😊). Great toilet block. Clean. Warm showers. Fair price (and a discount for solo campers). Flat pitches. Lots of stars with clear skies. Happy days (well, nights). This is a great location for some lovely walks in a very beautiful part of the world. Hartland Quay area is a must. Nice pubs in Hartland and the local shop is open longer than expected.

Lovely clean site with a warm greeting on arrival. Shower and toilet block was tidy however this was a very quiet time and can imagine at peak season it can be busy. My only consideration was that our pitch was next to an enterance to a fishing pool which meant some foot fall by our camper, again not an issue due to quiet times but if it was busier and more people were fishing then can imagine that could get tiresome. I would certainly return and spend longer and would recommend this site to others

This is a wonderful little campsite set in the lovely village of Hartland. Becca, who runs the campsite, was very helpful and accommdating. Nothing was too much trouble. In the toilet block, the ladies has two showers, two toilet cubicles, and two sinks. The gents has two urinals, two toilet cubicles, two showers and two sinks. There is also a laundry room, which is also a family shower room with toilet. Just outside the toilets are two sinks for washing pots and a fresh water tap. The cleaning ladies worked tirelessly to keep the floors clean, which was a challenge in the wet weather. Local area – It has 3 dog friendly pubs all within walking distance from the campsite. They all serve great food and are dog friendly. The oweners/staff at the King's Arms were particularly friendly and helpful. We received a warm welcome both times we visited. There are two shops in the village for groceries.
