Found this lovely Caravan site on-line and just had to try it. This place didn't disappoint whatsoever. We booked a long weekend and had the park to ourselves. The facilities where exceptional, clean and fresh. We won't hesitate to go back later in the year.

We have just returned from a 17 night stay. We had a touring hardstanding pitch that was a decent size, (there are premium pitches that have picnic benches) I loved that 2 pitches shared a drinking water and grey water disposal. Many campers had used these and turned them into serviced pitches, which I will do if we return! Yes you had to pay for electric but this seems to be more common these days. They do state they have a restaurant. However, they seemed to rely on food trucks coming in. It appeared that sometimes they were let down on the occasion, so they didn't always have food serving. This didn't bother us as I always prefer to cook anyway. We did have a drink at the bar and relax looking over the little pond which was lovely and in bloom. The site is very pretty with tiered levels and the stream running through, which my dog thoroughly enjoyed. There is a children's park, however this was a little tired with a few loose / rotten board but this could easily be fixed. The facilities were kept clean, and had the local radio playing which was a nice touch.Overall we had a lovely stay and this site is well located to visit North Devon and enjoy the many beaches.

We found the site was clean and tidy and the toilets and showers were spotless whenever we needed to use them. The site was well located close beaches and shops and the main fishing harbours. The restaurant is no longer open but they do have take away (street food) which comes to the site every day. The only negative thing about the campsite is the electric. You have to pay for this separately which is topped up using a card, luckily we came in the summer because I cant imagine how much it would cost in the winter. On the welcome pack it states that any remaining monies left on the meter can be transferred back onto your card by tapping it and then they will refund you. If you have to leave early on the day, you can post the card through the door and they will issue the refund over the phone. We did this and the remaining £8 was put onto the card and we gave this to a member of our family to hand over who was leaving later than us. When they gave in our card they were told that we couldn't have a refund because we had left early? So we got in touch with them for us to be told that we couldn't haven't a refund because nothing was on the card and that maybe our family had taken the £8 by accident? So we are still owed £8 from them, which they have pocketed. Its not about the money, its the principle!
