Our second time this summer at Ocean Pitch and it was as brilliant as ever. Best location – super close to the beach, hearing the sound of the waves at night and being able to wander down to see the sunset. Incredibly clean facilities – toilets and showers cleaned all the time and little things like a hairdryer in the bathrooms makes a big difference. Big shout out to Biff’s kitchen for delicious grub and on your doorstep. Benny and the team are super friendly and helpful – best camping ever. We will be back!
The campsite:Another fantastic camping holiday with the awesome ocean pitch camp site. This pitch is not just a camp site ….it’s got fantastic facilities; lovely and warm showers, washing up areas, outside wetsuit showers – you can hire wetsuits and boards from the campsite to use whilst your there too and all on lovely large pitch sizes. But where this campsite elevates itself above all other camp sites around it, is the added extras; the free washing up liquid, the consistently cleaned showers and toilets, the little shop with yummy goodies, charging port access in the shop, the incredible onsite Biffs kitchen (which I am already missing), the gorgeous views and most importantly the professional, kind and caring staff. Nothing is too much bother, you’re treated like family. I cannot recommend this mini haven enough.Location:Croyde is a busy little tourist village within easy walking distance with pubs, shops and ice cream parlours. Croyde beach you can see from the campsite and is very easily accessible too (even for little legs). Lots of lovely evenings spent watching the sun go down on glistening water then a gentle stroll back to the calm campsite is a must! But there is also a lot of opportunity to enjoy walks along beautiful headlands or sign up for surf lessons, the possibilities are endless there really isn’t enough time to enjoy it all!Overall: If you want to experience a fun, clean, friendly, perfectly positioned campsite then look no further. Ocean pitch is No.1 in our eyes. 10 stars!!

Amazing campsite. (A stones throw from the amazing waves at the beach!) The staff are so lovely. The toilets and showers are always clean and fresh. Everything is catered for, from toilet roll, washing up liquid, ice packs for your cool box and a site freezer/refrigerator for your cold food. They will even charge your phones and kids essential tablets/Nintendo switches and all other devices for £1 at reception. Biffens food van on site was an added bonus. I tried some amazing food ( I wish I was eating it again now!!) I've been home 2 days, and I cannot wait until I can go back!! 😁😁😁. Another trip to Devon, more amazing memories made ❤️ ♥️

Small campsite that doesn't get much better if you like to surf, hike or climb. Facilities were spotless and staff couldn't do enough to help. Street food truck on site which everyone was raving about (although we didn't try it ourselves) and village a short walk away. Site is as close to the beach as you can get and a small national trust cafe next door. Best campsite wifi I've used. We will absolutely be back to Croyde and will hopefully be lucky enough to secure a pitch here again.

Perfect campsite – we don’t normally camp but join our family here and love it. Big size pitch. Clean showers and toilets (cleaned regularly throughout the day). Then there’s the food… crazy street food, great hot chocolates and lastly lovely staff and the owner is not a bad guy too (his dog is better). Everything you need – considering not regular campers this was a delight.
