Quite simply the best camping site we have ever visited in the UK. From the moment we got there we knew that we had struck proverbial gold. The staff are fantastic and friendly, the vibe and atmosphere is chilled, and as far as location is concerned, well you just don’t get any better. Decent hot showers, clean facilities (my biggest gripe at most sites are lukewarm showers and dirty toilets) and some nice little touches like the heater in the shower room, make all the difference. This is how camping should be, other sites take note! We are definitely coming back next year, it’s literally a no brainier. 10/10 just isn’t enough, absolutely perfect.

I have been coming to Ocean Pitch since 2016 and stayed many times. However I have never left a review so I decided to put that right. 3 generations of our family have stayed in their vans on this site and having camped all around the world it is one of our very favourites. Benny and Lou are perfect hosts always trying to innovate and improve their service. Everything is kept spotlessly clean and is checked regularly it is always done with a smile and help when required. The showers are always warm and clean, new for this year is the great touch of beauty products for both Ladies and Gents. Small things which make it special. The ease for getting to the beach , walking to Baggy point to watch the many wonderful sunsets we have seen. Biffins is a nice touch on site and this year the girls loved the new Waffles van another innovation from Benny and Lou. Its a shame the council wont support their desire to make more permanent facilities to allow reconfiguration of the site. The plans are so well thought through. What would I add or suggest? Nothing really other than perhaps an electronic pump for those that want to quickly pump up SUPS (or campers with airbeds?) We will back next weekend for another weekend of fun. Thank you Benny and Lou for running such a lovely facility and site

I didn't camp there but used for Surf hire. Extremely friendly staff . Good equipment. Great facilities to shower afterwards – a warm shower was very welcome! Short walk to the beach. Recommended for surf hire. Very useful place to hire because they are open til 8pm so perfect for an evening surf.
