Beautiful farm set in the amazing countryside of Bideford. We stayed in the 1 bedroom cottage with underfloor heating and wooden beans. Well equipped kitchen and double shower… the cottage was lovely and warm throughout our stay. Great base for our dog walking holiday, our dogs were very happy. We would be happy to return again.

We (a family of 5 plus a dog) stayed in the Granary for a week in July 2023. Sharon could not have been more helpful and accommodating during our stay. The property was presented spotlessly and the "cream team in waiting" in the fridge was very much appreciated on arrival. A great base to enjoy this corner of Devon from, come rain or shine (frequently both together during our stay).

What a fabulous find this was. The Barn which sleeps 4 was perfect for my husband and I and our two older sons. The farm where the Barn is located is at the end of a narrow track, there are passing places, however reversing can be tricky in some parts. Did this spoil the experience, not at all. The peacefulness and the fact there is no passing traffic is what made this holiday the most enjoyable. The only traffic jam being the dogs lazing in the sun! Lol. The Barn is equipped with everything you need, beds are comfortable, the only thing we would have liked is an extra seat in the lounge, but that’s only because we are used to big settees and didn’t like sitting next to each other (haha). The hosts are wonderful and left a lovely cream tea and pint of milk in the fridge for when we arrived (fabulous). We took our two dogs with us and they loved the fields surrounding the farm and even the cows. They are old now so we couldn’t make full use of the walks straight from the farm, but they loved the open space and meeting the dogs on the farm. We loved everything here, the sunset over The Torridge (the views are amazing) and the dark skies for the stars, seeing shooting stars and meteors just wonderful. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed in THE CABIN. Pros: Absolutely stunning views, chilled & secluded location; exactly what we were after. Welcome scones were a nice touch! Lodge is a good size & layout The hot tub was perfect, even on cool rainy days maintained its temperature. Shower is very powerful and hot. Cows were nice to watch :) Lots of local walks/ hikes with stunning views Secure garden for the dog Gate from garden into large field Not overlooked by the other properties on siteCons: Double mattress very uncomfortable, could feel the springs We weren't aware you can't leave dogs unattended till we arrived, so we had to cancel dinner reservationsAMAZING HOLIDAY, WE WILL BE BACK!(Be aware: you must have a car, nothing in walking distance & the country tracks wouldn't feel particularly safe to walk on, high hedges so people can't see you coming)
