Just returned from one night at the tawny cabin and had the best and most relaxing time with my 2 teens. Wish we could have stayed longer really but we will be back. I'm glad I didn't tell the kids where we were going before arriving as they would have said they didn't want to go, no phone signal or WiFi but they were glad when we arrived and jumped in the wood fired hot tub. Don't be a muppet like me and forget to bring towels…. We had to drop dry but it was all good! It was great despite awful weather and we woke to lovely sun, so we hopped in the river with nets and had great fun. It is so nice to see kids being kids. Chris was lovely and welcoming and drove our bags to the cabin while we walked over the rd. Pretty much anything you could need there and the interior is really nice. I cannot fault the place and I stay in a lot of places! Would be even better if you went with a couple of families and made good use of the communal games room or camp fires. I loved every minute, thank you ❤️

Absolutely fantastic stay. Beautiful area, amazing hosts, nothing is too big of an ask, hot tub was amazing and was really great to get back in touch with nature. Celebrated my birthday which was fantastic, cannot wait to come back again soon!🤍🤍

Just had the best weekend away. What a find…its secluded, quiet and perfect for anyone wanting to escape to the healing sounds of nature and enjoy being off grid. AMAZING hosts who make you so welcome and have everything set up for you. Wood fired hot tub was incredible. Fire pit and log burner in the dome were great. Feel totally relaxed and recharged! Loved cooking and eating outside. All the little personal touches make it unique. Would highly recommend. Great for kids. Seriously a great way to spend the last couple of days of my 30s!!!!!!!! Thanks to all of the family who played their part to make this place a special holiday for us xxx

Wow this place is just wow ! Me and my friends visited at the start of July and stayed in the Tawny Cabin, and it was just absolutely magical. Such a gorgeous setting and each hut / glamping pod is well spaced out so you feel like the place is all to yourself nestled in a magical fairy woodland. The cabin has everything you need and the beds are super comfy. The hot tub is just an added bonus and me and my friends enjoyed sitting outside in the hot tub in the evenings. With so much to do on your doorstep as well and amazing hosts , I highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Devon.
