Could be great place. Unfortunately my caravan was very dirty in living area. There is outdoor pool "heated"Unfortunately water was below 20 degrees so I could not enjoyed. Also there is no beach only cliff and stones. But view was lovely.

We came here on a Sun holiday, not expecting it to be anything special as we got the holiday really cheap! We decided to upgrade our caravan from comfort accommodation to gold, as we have a 10 month old and we were really skeptical after reading the reviews. Obviously I do not know what comfort accommodation is like so I’m speaking on behalf of the whole site and the gold caravan. Our caravan was very clean, oven, fridge microwave kettle ect was all very clean! We were very happy with the standard and it didn’t smell musty, it was very comfortable and a cosy modern caravan. We slept well, and the entertainment area was good, a little dated but honestly great for what you need it for. The food was really nice for it being a small kitchen! Ideal for a quick meal. We also won the bingo a few times which was enjoyable! The small walk down to the beach is so secluded and beautiful to sit and look at that view. However not safe for the elderly or pushchairs ect as the stairs are very steep and long. I was exhausted! Good exercise though haha. All in all a really positive experience and we would definitely return using the gold / other upgraded caravans. Couldn’t find a fault in our stay. Thankyou

I honestly cannot recommend Sandaway beach enough. It's a small park but has a big heart! The staff are wonderful, especially Beth at reception, she has gone above and beyond to look after us and make our stay comfortable. My 82 year old grandfather slipped on Ilfracombe beach and broke his nose, Beth helped us with a taxi, gave him a sweet tea for the shock and supported us in helping him. My daughter even received a certificate from the foxy gang because of her bravery with Grampy being so hurt. We will 100% be booking for next year. It's clean, the accommodation is lovely and the food at chefs corner is great. A really wholesome camp to stay at. We don't want to leave on Friday, thank you so much Sandaway ❤️

Very clean. Staff is very friendly. Beautiful setting. There are only 2 small minor faults. Firstly, no WiFi is only in the club room, and not all over the site. It was explained to us that there provide has as yet not switched the wi fi on. That's fair enough. But if I was the manager, I would be on their backs to have the wi fi turned on as this could cost us money and inconvenience to our guests. Number 2. The smoke alarm is too close to the kitchen area. As it was always going off when doing toast. These 2 items only a minor inconvenience. But a great stay. Thank you
If you have a dog beware the caravans are not clean, ours had dust everywhere, stained seating, broken extractor and a boiler with no gas certificate for years 24-25 which is illegal. Inspect the caravan before you unpack, apart from that the location is fantastic it's a short but steep walk to Coombe Martin and close to surrounding towns.
