Great stay at the campsite, it was very quiet and there was loads of space. The facilities were clean and had a code. Husband tried the paddle boarding and really enjoyed it. Nice walks around the lake and across the dam.

Had a sunny day!! Trials were all mostly dry. Not much to see other than total peace n tranquility. Enjoyed the lower lake more. There's swimming areas available there. There are play ground areas for children and a cafe. A bird watchers paradise with several hides available. Loads of birds around.

Lovely walk with our dogs, although they must be on their LEADS at all times. Chargeable car park and the café was closed on our Tuesday visit – check opening times.

Lovely lake/dam to walk around, bike hire available, on the Cornish/Devon boarder. Car park accepts Ringo app so you can pay with ease £2.50 for 2 hours or £5 all day. Disabled parking available, toilets and cafe on site too.

Took a bike ride from Kilkhampton to Tamar upper lakes and cycled around the lakes which was about 2.5 miles. A nice pleasant ride only came across 2 other people. Lots of wildlife and nature to observe then stopped at the CAFE for coffee and carrot cake served by very friendly staff. Highly recommend for a nice walk or bike ride. You have to pay for the car park but there are lots of signage for information regarding the lake and wildlife and even bird hides for the twitchers.
