Super campsite in a lovely location with direct access to the Tarka Trail making it an ideal base for walkers and cyclists. They accept back backers and tourers with campervans and motorhomes. Advisable to book ahead for larger units. EHU available. Very smart new shower block. We'll definitely be back… 👍

A decent campsite with good location for cyclists and walkers that want to head out on the Tarka trail. A bit low on toilets for ladies and no hot water for washing up (and only one basin). I liked the 'quirky' brewery next door but others in our group were less keen. We enjoyed our stay but it wasn't great value compared to other sites. Currently no recycling facilities which was disappointing.

The camp site is really well located along the trail side, however the facilities are a bit on the basic side, they were nice and clean though. I can't say the same for the bar/brewery attached or on the same site. It is only open from 7pm till 9pm and we found the owner extremely rude, some might say eccentric but we just found it really uncomfortable. The pizza was lovely and the beer tasted nice but we both had bad stomachs the next day. Could be totally coincidence though.
