Wonderfully located campsite, new and clean facilities. Perfect for immediate access to the tarka trail for cyclist and walkers. Lots of shops a short drive away in either direction. On-site brewery is open in the evenings. Would definitely use again.

Good location for cycling and walks. Brand new showers and toilets. A private brewery by the entrance with a real character patron and food including a very generous, absolutely delicious fish pie. Hope you get better weather than us but even on a dull day walks are invigorating and good views. Take the ferry to Appledore. Lovely.

Very nice campsite. Facilities are new, spacious and very clean. 3 large showers with benches. Pitches are big. Gated entrance to tarka trail, close to a very nice cafe at Fremington. Would recommend. Don't let the road side entrance put you off, on approach looks like you are entering a scrap yard- keep going and a lovely campsite appears!

A great campsite in a lovely location. Right on the tarka trail with a gate to access the trail right off the campsite. The site itself is well kept and toilet shower facilities are brand new and top notch. No shop on site but there is a quirky little microbrewery next door for a beer or a co-op a mile down the road for supplies. Nice level pitches with hard gravel to park on and grass area to pitch an awning. There are picnic benches dotted about that you can pick up and put on your pitch if you want which is a nice touch. Cracking sunset looking out down the estuary!

Perfect location for cycle touring on NCN 3. Right off the Tarka Trail. Real English ale is brewed at room temperature by a brewmaster with over 40 years experience. He also serves pizza too.
