A single-story building with open plan kitchen and dining area, The Cottage adjoins the rear of the owners’ farmhouse and overlooks the farmyard and lake. Cozy and delightfully furnished with modern woodburning stove, the home has two bedrooms and a separate shower room – enough space for the whole family.

The farm and its charming surroundings offer plenty to explore. Take a wander around the 100 acres of land and meet the friendly flock of sheep that keep the grounds mowed and looking pristine. There is a large play area for children, or you can spend the day fishing in the three lakes on site. Enjoy a spot of clay pigeon shooting arranged with the owner, too.

For days out, Westward Ho! is within close reach with its flat sands and rock pools, while the nearby RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Hill, coastal paths, and Tarka Trail provide ample opportunity to explore the area on foot or bike. With The Big Sheep not far away and shops and supermarkets in the vicinity, the possibilities for fun-filled family excursions are endless.
