Nestled between Dartmoor and Cornwall’s north coast is a historic barn conversion that is worthy of its Grade II-listing. The Threshing Barn’s rustic charm has been enriched with contemporary touches and it offers a peaceful escape for couples.
Stepping into the open plan living space, you are greeted by wooden beams, Vaulted ceilings and a woodburning stove—all of which contribute to an inviting atmosphere. With an English Oak kitchen, complete with granite worktops, a double electric oven, a butler’s sink and a Bosch dishwasher, refrigerator and a freezer, every need is accounted for.
The boot room is a short distance away and it’s conveniently where the washing machine is housed. In addition, ample storage space is available for bicycles, wet jackets and muddy boots. The luxurious bathroom has a mosaic tiled floor, bath, double basin and shower, which leaves the sizeable bedroom to provide a well-deserved rest.
Guests can make use of the private patio with a table and chairs, sun-chairs and a Weber gas barbecue to enjoy a bit of al fresco dining in warmer months. The 48-acre farm allows for relaxing strolls, with views over towards Dartmoor, and the chance to meet some of the local animals present.
