Lovely walk to Woolacombe Beach through National Trust owned path. Good facilities, even a sauna and steam room in the toilet and shower block for the campers! Good outdoor pool, indoor pool has slides and decent menu for adults and kids at the bar and restaurant areas. Well stocked shop on site. Nice 15-20minute walk to neighbouring Woolacombe Bay resort if it’s nice weather. We went early July for the weekend before the resort hit peak summer holidays…

First impressions, it's a very clean site. We went with a 3 year old and a dog. There were plenty of red bins for dog waste as well as regular stations with bags to collect the waste should you have forgotten any. The grass pitches with electric were level, which was great as we were staying in a tent. The downfall was, you couldn't get a peg in! Not ideal if you're trying to pitch a tent. We tried regular pegs as well as rock pegs and we had very limited luck. Whilst the site prides itself being dog friendly, there was very limited things you can do- understandable to an extent, but you can only sit in a few places in bar 51, where the soft play is, which is the opposite end of the room. The other place you can go with your dog, is round the outside pool. So if you have the intention of doing all the activities with your small human, bring extra people to do them with your child or watch the dog. I wasn't a fan of the booking system either. To go swimming in the indoor pool, you had to book 24 hours in advance. 9 times out of 10, you couldn't book a time you wanted. If you went to reception, they were very friendly and were able to help book you on. All seemed a bit pointless, as they didn't check at the pool anyway. Can say the staff were very friendly and happy to help. There was a lovely man who had a support on his hand, in bar 51, who was able to recommend a drink for me, brought it to my table and then even brought the dog a drink of water with ice in!

Arrived to find the location of our caravan was basically in the car park next to the main entertainment area, no where near to the other people we had booked with. Came back from a day at the beach to a kitchen covered in ants. Lovely. Was dealt with quickly though with some traps laid out whilst we were out. Swimming pool had so much chlorine in it, it was unbearable and made your whole face hurt after 10 minutes. The second day was better and no children were crying with pain. This was my 3rd time here but unfortunately probably my last. It was a cheap price so not too unhappy. Location is great for the beach at Woolacombe, which is always great.

Loads to do on site, but I imagine it's very busy in summer. We were there off season and even then couldn't get a pool booking till after check out time. Shop is ok, with fresh pastries in the morning. Poor selection of fresh food though. You have to drive to get to the beach.
