My partner and I were visiting the Affinity shopping outlet in Devon for our "Betwixmas/New Year" break, and he surprised me with the suggestion of purchasing an engagement ring, as a new year proposal has become somewhat of an ongoing joke/tradition between us, but this time… making it official.The ladies in the store were very helpful and patient with me, as I wasn't keen on how the traditional-style rings sat/looked on my finger. I was attracted to a thicker yellow gold band ring with much smaller diamonds on it. Initially, the discussion between us and the staff regarding this choice was how a wedding band would sit on that finger alongside it, and they came up with the solution of going for a wishbone style wedding band, which I also tried for context, and it looked beautiful.The band ring I chose was too big for me, but I had my heart set on it. They asked if I was staying in the local area for long, and we said just for a few more days. With the bank holidays, we discussed me posting it to their workshop for resizing, and in the meantime, so I didn't lose it, I ordered myself a temporary plastic resizing padding to keep it in place.After we returned back to Sussex, the temporary fix got tiresome quickly, so I contacted Boutico by email to see if I could arrange the resizing. I'd bought myself a cheap ring size wheel off Amazon, and established what size I needed (the ladies in the shop did do this for me, but I was in such a surprised daze at the time, that I instantly forgot and hadn't written it down). I got an incredibly warm, polite and congratulatory reply from Malcolm at Boutico HQ, who instructed me on posting the ring (insured), and they'd do the resizing at no extra cost for me. I sent it off the same day and within a week, Ihave it back on my finger, fitting so perfectly I barely know it's there (but it's also in no danger of slipping off!).I cannot fault the service I received both in store and through Malcolm on email. I would thoroughly recommend Boutico and will most probably go back for the wishbone band… when the time comes!Thank you.

Wife purchased a lovely bracelet that unfortunately didn't fit so, even though against company policy, I was allowed a half refund and my wife managed to get a beautiful pair of earrings, which she loved and are really nice looking in appearance and quality. Have a nice selection of jewellery, that has something for everyone and occasion. Thank you again for your help.

Highly recommended treasure trove in Bideford, staffed by approachable, helpful and knowledgable professionals for whom nothing is too much trouble, and who have a genuine interest in the wide range of stock they offer. Well worth a visit – or two!
