Its walls are adorned with ancient frescos, depicting religious scenes and figures, while its arches and ceiling provide shelter from the elements

The chapel also features an ornate font, with its carvings depicting biblical stories of salvation

Inside, visitors can view the remains of a remarkable 14th century wall painting, thought to represent St

George slaying the dragon

The chapel has been designated a Grade II listed building by English Heritage, recognising it as an important historic site with splendid architectural features

Even if visitors do not wish to explore the spiritual side of this location, it is still well worth a visit for its stunning exterior and interior décor
