Very busy place. Lovely for family's. Food is good, salads, sandwiches and wraps and baked potatoes. Nice selection of cakes and ice cream. Alot of drinks but no alcohol is served here. The views of the estuary is stunning, so happy to be back after 35 years as I grew up here. Well worth a visit.

Magic peaceful place for all ages to enjoy. An old train station and commercial harbour transformed into a green little leisure oasis. There is also a lovely bicycle shed where you can rent or repair, great idea considering the great bike tracks along the estuary and beyond. Also a part of the building is kept as a reminder of what the place used to be. Enjoy!

Absolutely brilliant little place on the cycle path between Instow and Barnstaple. We are staying in Fremington for the week and have walked down early morning with our dog.We devided to walk down so I could have a cream tea 😁.Food was excellent 2 scones, cream and jam. Wife had a Raspberry slice and the boys had Rocky road. All generous portions 😍.We sat outside looking out to the estuary, which is a fantastic view. Reasonably busy as weather was nice.Definitely worth a visit and we will be back to sample some more of the delicious looking cakes 😋.Staff very helpful, friendly and polite.Plenty of seating outside to bring your 4 legged friends 🐾 🐾

Fabulous location, fabulous food and wonderful staff. I had a homemade baguette with cheese and tomato and cider chutney. This came with a side salad and crisps, defiantly worth having. The latte was very tasty, too. Staff so happy and polite. Decided to take some cake home with us, best coffee and walnut I've had in a very long time. I'm looking forward to returning.

Today Sunday, Little bike ride from bideford, Roast Beef baguette was huge, served with roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding and a jug of gravy was delicious! We both took half home as couldn't manage it in one go, also took a slice of carrot cake and a slice of Bakewell tart home. Would rate both. Not expensive, great value for money.
