Fabulous location, fabulous food and wonderful staff. I had a homemade baguette with cheese and tomato and cider chutney. This came with a side salad and crisps, defiantly worth having. The latte was very tasty, too. Staff so happy and polite. Decided to take some cake home with us, best coffee and walnut I've had in a very long time. I'm looking forward to returning.

Food is delicious. We’ve been several times before for their baguettes and they are amazing. Yesterday we had their breakfast and it didn’t disappoint, great quality and huge portion (we couldn’t finish ours!). We will be back soon for a slice of cake, as all the cakes in the counter looked to die for. The only thing we would say was that the room was a bit cold, regardless the fireplace being lit, so additional heating in the winter would be appreciated.

Absolutely wonderful cafe experience. Lovely welcoming staff, delicious coffee and sandwich. The cakes and treats looked incredible but I didn’t try one. The views over the water are beautiful. This was one of the loveliest cafes I’ve visited in the UK while cycling and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for having me!

Just used the area for walking. Parking is easy if you are there early. Lovely views and interesting history.

Amazing array of cakes, the choice is a tough one. Nice strong coffee. The meals here are really good too, the only downside is the lack of choice on smaller light meals. I will certainly be back, always great service and food.
