Ordered a takeaway for 4 people to be delivered. Even though we were advised that delivery estimate was a little longer than would have liked, it arrived with a smile and earlier than advised thankfully, and all dishes were hot. Everybody in our party enjoyed their meal and said it was delicious, very good quality and generous portions. Thank you! You’ll be our first choice always.

Firstly, be warned – if you Google this establishment and see them advertising a 5 star food hygiene rating. Perhaps it was once upon a time, but it is currently rated as a 3 which is ‘generally satisfactory’. I think that’s being generous. I have holidayed in Westward Ho! for over 20 years and have never been tempted to try it, but after a challenging 7 hour drive we were ready to eat.Our party of 6 ordered a special fried rice, chow mein, chicken balls and sweet and sour chicken. Whilst the rice/noodle dishes were satisfactory, I am extremely concerned about the chicken dishes which were like slime and smelt of fish.Even more concerning, when calling the restaurant to let them know something was not right with the chicken and it tasted fishy, they assured me that they do not sell fish!As requested, we returned the food. A credit note was offered (as IF I would ever set foot in this place again!), eventually we were given a partial refund.We now have an anxious wait to see if any of us are sick. I am horrified that you think selling this slop is acceptable. If you’re holidaying in Westward Ho!, please do not spend your money here.For those leaving reviews that it’s the best Chinese you’ve ever had, I can only assume you’ve been paid to leave review.Absolutely disgusting.

Had a meal ordered for mother’s day. Food arrived within the hour, everything tasted fresh and had quality ingredients. The sweet and sour chicken balls were particularly delicious and the batter was crispy on all the orders not soggy or greasy.Generous portion sizes, reasonably priced. Delivery driver was lovely and a credit to you. I would really recommend it to anyone in the area.

Very nice food. The prawn crackers taste a bit different to ones we've had before (but in a good way!). Quite large portions which is never a bad thing.Only thing to be aware of is on a Saturday we couldn't get a collection slot until 8.20 when we called at about 5.45, so if you're wanting to pickup at a more reasonable time, best of be on the phone when they open. Never had that before but must relate to how they're setup for cooking. Wasn't a problem though, as the food was very nice!
