This lovely old bridge is a calm place for a walk or a consideration of life. Car park nearby is big enough for just a few cars. There are no bins, not dog bins, so all rubbish needs to be taken away with you.

I took a detour and this lovely bridge was worth the extra miles. It is set in a beautiful landscape. There is a small car park nearby so that it is a good place for having a picknick.

Theres a small carpark , and a little grassy area either side of the bridge for a picnic. A really lovely spot on the river. (Photos are off colour one side because i dropped phone and cracked the camara)

Quiet and mindful place. So many different species of wild flowers. Can you spot salmon? They come here to spawn.

Lovely area for picnic and walk. We parked here – free parking and walked to nearby Withypool for lunch then back again. Lots of scenic views of woodland, streams and some wildlife. It’s a bit of journey as we drove from Ilfracombe but well worth it for a nice day out.
