Had the loveliest evening here with my fiancé during our holiday visit to Bideford, after a silly mix up with our booking (my fiancé booking for 5:30 when they don’t open till 6) Lydia was extremely sweet on the phone and helped us to sort it all out . We arrived to a very warm welcome with a free appetiser of fish soup which was lush, given plenty of time to choose our food and drinks, complementary table water and a bowl for the dog. We ordered steak with extra prawns which was unfaultable, cooked to perfection with a lovely salad and the blue cheese sauce was to die for 😍🤤. Rioca wine was delicious perfect , ambiance was calm, friendly and romantic just what we needed . Great prices for such a lovely fresh and well seasoned meal . Will definitely visit again . Was lovely to see Florian the chef as well who came to check our food was good 👍🏻. Thankyou so much for a lovely evening all the best for your future in your lovely little world that is Le petit monde . Much love Amie and scott

What an absolute delight. A very warm welcome from Lydia and Florian. Menu so inventive and execution is perfection. Wines are above average and a delicious pairing. My husband and I had the most wonderful meal and experience. Thank you both and wish you every success and happiness in the future.

This was a great place to eat during our stay around Bideford. The food was lovely and the service was exemplary. Will definitely return if we are back in the area again.

Lovely meal here whilst visiting Bideford. We chose a starter each, scallops and mackerel, and then the fresh seafood for 2 with a few sides. I couldn't recommend this little piece of heaven enough. Thank you for a lovely experience.

What a fantastic little spot! Adorable interior and incredible food! I love a place that has a small menu and each dish is done well. We loved the gambas starter so much that we ordered extra for with the main dish. Sole and risotto both were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Desserts, chocolate mouse and crème brûlée, were the cherry on top! Simple but oh sooooo good! You could tell the place was run with love and kindness – a couple, two genuine people running the place.Must visit ! (also I normally find restaurants for dinner on the Michelin guide app, how is this place not on there?! Should be on the top of your list).
