Little Hangman is located on the North Devon coast, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by the Exmoor National Park

It is a great spot to take in the breathtaking views over Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and nearby Lundy Island

The area is also home to three Iron Age hill forts, ideal for exploring and taking in some of Britain’s fascinating history

Start off with the path by the beach and up the grass hill. There is parking down the bottom in a car park. The walk is fairly steep and full of gravel, so correct footwear is required. It's quite steep to begin with but does flatten out. Fantastic views and even better if you carry on to the summit.

The view is totally worth the hike, as seen in the videos and photos. It’s absolutely breathtaking. Totally recommend! ❤️

Fabulous views all along. About 30-40 minutes to reach the Little Hangman and another 25-30 to get to the top of the Great Hangman. If you walk from Combe Martin you will also pass the Wild Pear Beach. The path is easy to follow with the steepest part at the beginning and then more gentle towards the hill.

From Combe Martin it's a short (45min) steep walk to the summit. Great views of the surrounding area and over the Bristol Channel to Wales.
