Breakfast with the family. It ended up being a little more expensive than I thought. But it was tremendous all round. Not just another generic breakfast. The scrambled eggs had buttery character, the sausage was delicious and the toast was super thick sliced bread. Not just your supermarket bought rubbish. Also the cutlery was sturdy and good quality and the staff super friendly. A fixture in my top 10 U.K. breakfasts

Staff were welcoming and friendly. We sat outside as the weather was nice. Food is a little expensive for what you get but that's probably how it is with cost of living. Can't fault and would return. Pretty garden at the back and I loved the character of the place. Appledore is a childhood favourite of mine and this place was lovely.

So glad to have discovered this lovely welcoming cafe in Appledore. All the staff were friendly and thank you to one lady in particular who was very understanding of our large nervous dog, she let us sit in the corner and made us feel really welcome.The tea, coffee and cakes were delicious, just the little afternoon pick me up we needed after a long day walking.We hope to visit again when we’re in the area ☺️ thank you.

Josie and staff are super friendly, helpful and always accommodating. The food is delicious and fresh and the garden and ‘shed’ are an absolute bonus. Prices are reasonable unlike some other establishments in the area who charge eye watering prices!!!! Definitely worth a visit if in Appledore.

I get the whole “Devon food not fast food” written on the wall, but it really shouldn’t take 50 minutes to get from walking in the door to having lunch in front of you.Guessing they were short staffed or something. The food was really tasty once it arrived, and their hot chocolate was a genuinely great one.
