I really enjoyed my meal of breaded plaice, chips and mushy peas with a pot of tea. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Clean and comfortable seating area. Loved it, thank you.

Superb meal in dog friendly fish n chips restaurant! Had the special, which was large cod (battered or grilled (which I had)), served with choice of peas or curry sauce and a drink (latte for me). The friendly staff even brought a sausage for my dog. Pleasant decor in seating area.

Superb!! Immaculately clean. Quite possibly the best fish and chips we’ve ever had! The lady serving in the sit down area was really friendly and cheerful. Made a fuss of our dog too, who even got his own sausage.Thank you.

Had Mr Chips for years but won’t be anymore. Genuinely the worst piece of fish any of us have ever had. Tasteless, greasy and the batter soggy on all 3 large cod’s. Chips and sausages really greasy. Mushy peas also really cold.Really really poor that their standard of food has dropped so much.

Due to its popularity there were no free tables when we went. Advised to return after 30 minutes. Went back and we were not disappointed. Great cod and chips, meaty and fresh. Will definitely revisit.
