North Devon Wake Park

Fantastic place! We came here just to try out the inflatables and now see we missed out so much on the wake boarding, tube riding and more. Staff were super efficient, food is fantastic and well priced and it was just a fabulous few hours. Parking is good. Safety briefings were given beforehand so we would hesitate to refer friends here – oh wait we’ve already told about 8 families about the place!

It's not just the excellent tuition, lakes with and without obstacles catering to all levels from complete beginner to sponsored rider, it's also the relaxed, friendly, family vibe that North Devon Wake Park has nailed. It's such a lovely place to hang out. The staff are all super friendly and encouraging, (so too have the customers been on my 5 or 6 visits over the last few years), there's food and drink available with seating to watch the activities. There's also an inflatable obstacle type course for individuals and groups who just want to run bounce and splosh about. Prices are very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend for an active day out which isn't too dependent on the weather forecast, we'll definitely be back again and again now that our 10 and 12 year old kids are up and riding. We were in Devon for 2 weeks on holiday and went 5 times at the Wakepark during our holiday. Our son Joshua have enjoyed wakeboarding there. We got him a day pass each time and still can't get enough of it. There's such a nice buzz and a lovely atmosphere of the place. Everyone is so friendly and supportive especially when our son broke his board but that soon rectified and managed to enjoy his session. Big Jo helped us fixed his bindings to his rented board and Harry fixed his board and was ready the next time we were back.Sally on the reception and the other boys (can't remember all their names) were so lovely and helpful. All the ladies/boys at the cafe and pizza stand are very friendly and cheery. The pizzas are to die for and we also loved the chicken wraps.The boys at the Wakepark were very supportive towards our son and very encouraging. The safety is of high standard as well.The facilities, toilets and changing rooms are nice and clean. The lake is clean and the features are well maintained and the surrounding.It's just a fantastic place. We spent mostly the whole day each time we were there, my husband and I didn't mind taking our son there although we were just watching him wakeboard and the others, we really enjoyed ourselves. Although the place was buzzing, there was a sense of tranquility as well.Our friends that were also on holiday in Cornwall on our 2nd week, came and their kids and our son did the aquapark. It just didn't finished there as we all came back and their 2 kids did the beginners wakeboarding and now hooked.We highly recommend the place and can't wait to go back and see the wakeboarding community again on our next holiday in Devon or Cornwall.Thank you for a fantastic time. Such an awesome space! The staff are so lovely and the food was delicious. The activities are great for all interests and levels, my daughter and husband did the inflatable assault course and loved every minute. I sat it out with the dog, and was pleased there were so many spaces i could sit and enjoy watching the activities. The changing facilities were great too and a bonus having the heated floor! Great cup of tea too! Will definitely be back again x

Brilliant place for family fun. Staff really nice and helpful. We did the paddle boarding and water assault course. Highly recommended 👌
