Best meal I’ve had in a while! Totally worth the money. Every plate was delicious and Chloe was a lovely hostess. Josh is incredibly talented…The chicken butter was insane and the duck was amazing. No words for the lemon sherbet… If you are in the area and can afford a little treat, you must visit ☺️

An absolutely exquisite fine dining experience. Fabulous setting in a beautiful building overlooking the river. Chloe delivers outstanding service nothing is too much trouble. Joshua makes outstanding food, it’s delicate, complex and truly a delight to enjoy. Thank you for looking after us. We will be back.

Don't bother if you are vegetarian.Very disappointed with our experience as a pescatarian/vegetarian the options were thoughtless and tasteless. Instead of lamb there was breaded aubergine no flavour what so ever. Instead of chicken was chargrilled courgette. For £85 a head for the tasting menu, was really underwhelmed. Don't bother if you don't eat meat chef obviously can't be bothered! Ridiculously expensive vegetarian food! Friendly service, but lacking for the price you pay had to top up own water and wine.

Wonderful experience at Number Eight 🥂 The whole evening was so well choreographed and every dish and drink pairing was delightful. A real treat for us and worth every penny. You can really see the attention and passion that Chloe and Josh have put into the restaurant, and I hope that it continues to receive the support and praise it deserves.

How many superlatives can I use…….amazing, different and would be a well deserved Michelin stat? It was spotlessly clean and owner v friendly. The tastes were incredible along with all the little surprises on the way.
