I went to visit No.8 last saturday with my partner, and was blown away! The restaurant is elegant with a clean, modern decor. There is an outside area where you can watch the sunset and have a craft cocktail. I love the concept that Chloe and Chef Josh are running there – 18 seats, a very personal, professional service front of house, with a delicious, creative tasting menu to go with it. What can I say? The food is banging, flavors bombs left right and center, showcasing some of Devon's local produce. Portion wise, between the tasting menu it was the perfect amount for me, and reasonably priced. I take my hats off to these 2 as they run the whole service between themselves. Thank you for a memorable experience and keep up the good work! I will be back.

Had a fabulous evening with amazing food and beautiful restaurant. Would highly recommend a visit. Has been the highlight of our holiday in Devon and up there with michelin star restaurants we been too. Many thanks

Visited for the first time this evening, It absolutely did not disappoint one bit! The Decor, The Atmosphere, The Food & The Service was Outstanding! Josh’s attention to detail & passion really stands out in every dish, The flavours were absolutely beautiful! I genuinely did not think I would enjoy some of the items on the menu but it was some of the best food I’ve ever had! It was £85 for 8 Courses- amazing value & worth every penny spent! Greeted & seated by Chloe who immediately followed on with taking our drinks order, we felt very taken care of & Honestly can’t recommend this beautiful restaurant enough! We can’t wait to come back & try another variety of beautiful flavours im sure Josh has coming in the next few weeks! 😁 Thank You Both for a fabulous evening.

An absolutely exquisite fine dining experience. Fabulous setting in a beautiful building overlooking the river. Chloe delivers outstanding service nothing is too much trouble. Joshua makes outstanding food, it’s delicate, complex and truly a delight to enjoy. Thank you for looking after us. We will be back.
