Popped in on a whim whilst visiting Bideford for the first time. Quaint venue, overlooking the river, with plenty of seating both inside and out.The staff were friendly, and service from ordering to the table was relatively fast. We opted for a few slices of the cakes on offer, which were flavourful. We highly recommend the Caranchan Cake, the Orange & Poppyseed Cake was also very nice.

Nice location on the quay at bottom of high street. Food is good,coffee very nice. Who wants to go in a chain when you have a local cafe like this to visit

The best jacket potato I have ever eaten In any cafe. Very cheap at £6.95 as it includes coleslaw, salad, Tuna and sweetcorn. A huge portion as well as a huge potato, which was very fluffy. Salad delicious too. Can't wait to return.

Consistently great coffee, great service and great value! Lovely to be able to sit outside Otters and feel smug looking towards the local Costa across the road knowing we're drinking a much better coffee and at the same time supporting a local business and not a faceless corporation!

Called in today to have something to eat at approximately 1oclock, only to be informed that they were too busy to serve food, no it may be a long wait just too busy.
