Saturday night treat! Never been before but has good reviews so why not. Really wanted paneer but not on the menu but I asked and was no problem to add it to a main dish. We had; Sagor mixed starter, veg paratha, paneer dopiaza and chefs special mixed curry, mushroom and pilau rice. Lovely meal and friendly staff. Would recommend to a curry lover or a novice 😋 Good value for money.

Ordered takeaway on 7/4/23. Lovely people running it but poor food sadly.Extremely bland and mild madras despite the menu inferring it was hot; a very strange Lamb curry with hard bits of lime in it that was inedible; a cremated mixed starter consisting of bhajis, tandoori chicken and Seekh kebab that were very disappointing. A curious bag of salad that had been sweating and went straight into the compost bin. The naan breads were spongy and stale. Wouldn’t return here.Would urge them to focus on a smaller menu, use high quality and fresh ingredients and learn to cook in a specific method more traditional to Indian cookery.

Can honestly say this is the worst place I have ever eaten at! Myself, my wife, sister and brother in law had booked a table in advance, we arrived and were shown to a table by a young woman who was miserable and mumbling something about only one thing on the menu!!?? She didn’t offer to take our coats…so we just sat with them stuffed on our seats. Another older waitress who was friendly gave us menus and took our drink orders…gin and tonic with no ice or lemon, coke which was poured from a large supermarket own brand bottle again no ice. Table setting was basic with cheap paper napkins which weren’t replaced after starters. Food took an hour and a half to arrive, people were waiting for takeaways and complaining about time taken to arrive. When the food arrived it was nice and we did enjoy, however as soon as we finished the waitress, asked if we’d finished and then said ‘I’ll get your bill’ no offer of would we like coffee or dessert and so we paid and left. It was like being in a bizarre comedy sketch, I expected David Walliam or Matt Lucas to arrive…the food was okay, nothing special but the service was atrocious and we will not be going back and would not recommend….avoid.

Ordered a take-out for 10 people, to pick-up an hour later. Went to collect, picked-up fish and chips first, at this restaurant they shouted our name into the kitchen. I can only assume that the kitchen only then started cooking it because it took 25 minutes to appear, by which time our fish and chips for other members of our group were cold. We asked the Indian to recompense us (to repurchase) but they refused. We shall go elsewhere for any future orders (and we always get an Indian for the whole group (30 of us) at the end of the week!

We were staying on holiday locally and had been recommended this place by out hosts so we decided to give it a go. Unfortunately despite being some of the first customers they had in we had a very long wait on food. When we went in there was a delivery driver sitting around on his phone and apart from the occasion delivery that's where he stayed most of the 2 hours we were there. There was a young server who had virtually no personality and didn't make an effort to chat or ask u how things were. When plates were taken she just took them without a word. The manager was much chattier but was on the phone a lot taking orders. In terms of the food, we had poppadoms to start with mango chutney. This was very nice, crisp poppadoms, a "little" greasy. But not overly so. Mango chutney was lovely, not too sweet with a nice tang. For starters we had butterfly prawn and the sagor mixed special (I believe it was called), which had a selection of things on. These were really nice. Things started to fall apart with the mains. I had a lamb korma and my partner has a chicken tikka, fairly simple. Plus two peshwari (prob not how that's spelt lol) naans… Even tho on the menu it says "nans" 😉 These unfortunately weren't great, very watery and very little meat, or anything else in the actual dish. Very disappointed. I actually could not finish my korma as it was far too sweet. Such a shame. Total price was about £41.
