Had found this on Google and decided to try here for lunch. Amazing food and coffee and very pleasant staff. We had a smoked salmon bagel with cream cheese and a local cheese and tomato sandwich. Both were excellent quality food and generous filling.

Super friendly bakery and cafe. My girlfriend wanted to buy everything they baked. People working in both were really friendly. We also ate at the cafe and had cheese melted on toast and a salmon bagel. They were both huge and kept us going all day. Thoroughly recommended.

Wow what an amazing little bakery and cafe. The fresh bagels were the best I’ve ever tasted and were literally heaped with smoked salmon and cream cheese, and I could barely eat it all. Very generous portions and reasonably priced too. Amazing sourdough bread too, wish we lived closer. Very friendly service and super dog friendly too which always gets our custom.

Absolutely LOVE this bread. The best sourdough I’ve found in the UK (and I’ve tried a lot of it!). Lovely, friendly staff and the place smells divine when you walk in. Try Bread next door for a sit-in experience. The smoked salmon bagel is gorgeous, although if you really want to sample the sourdough at its best, I think a simple butter and marmite is the only way. My daughter had it with cream cheese, which was also delicious. Also worth mentioning this is the BEST coffee in Bideford.

Another of North Devons hidden treasures. Tucked away it needs to be looked for but well worth a trip. Everything is baked next door at the bakery and always delicious. Great local produce, including a very smooth locally roasted coffee. A friendly ethical cafe that's well worth a visit, oh and while you're there, grab a loaf of proper sourdough next door.
