Always a fantastic place to visit. Exhibitions and artists change on a regular basis so if you visited every two months something different would be showing. Local schools and artists were exhibiting and the standards were first rate. National and International artists regularly hold solo Exhibitions here that you would normally travel to London to view. The gallery staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The shop is well stocked with a great selection of cards, books, toys etc that make it a go to place for something different. A wonderful craft gallery of ceramics, jewellery, fabrics and furniture lead to the very best café in Bideford, book a table so not to be disappointed, you won't regret it. Spend time, a lot of time enjoying the museum, art exhibitions, shop and craft gallery, and café. You may end up a few £ lighter and a few lb heavier but the experience is priceless. The jewel in Bidefords' Crown, enjoy.

This is this is a great local museum. They have a fine collection of pottery/ slipware. The shop is particularly comprehensive with lots of pottery by well-known ceramic artists for sale. I visited to see the Paula Rego exhibition as well as the exhibition of studio pottery from the estate of a local collector- really excellent. Good tea rooms with outside seating area in good weather.

Really good local art gallery with one of the best cafés I've been too in a long time. French Galetes are a speciality. Friendly staff, great food and great art – what's not to like. Highly recommend.

Lovely museum. Best part is that they feature local artists. Very good restaurant at back overlooks garden areas. Very good displays especially a replica "Old Bridge" upstairs.

Very clean and tidy free Museum and Information centre. There are toilets, coffee shop and art/craft gallery on site. The exhibits are brilliant and well worth the time looking at them. Staff are helpful and friendly to speak to you about Bideford in general. The outside surrounding park is also well looked after again with an outside toilet
