Tamsin, is absolutely wonderful! We've just had a crochet workshop, held at Magpie & Hook in Bideford, and 4 total beginners have come away with good looking baskets. She's a fantastic teacher and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Incredible service! I ordered something VERY last minute for Christmas and the owner Tamsin was so thoughtful and kind to ensure it got posted out the same day. Lovely little shop with a fantastic choice of Bobbiny yarn. Tamsin uses this yarn to make her wonderful baskets which I have purchased in a few sizes. The baskets are well made, sturdy and have multiple uses. Tamsin has a great eye for colour and I love her little baskets which make perfect little gifts at a good price point. So if you enjoy crocheting you can’t go wrong with bobbiny yarn and one of Tamsin’s patterns, if crafting isn’t your thing then there is plenty to buy ready made in an array of colours 🧶

Google directions will try to convince you that this place is still in the Pannier Market, which it definitely isn't. It's on Mill Street.Service was wonderful; went in looking for a crochet hook and when I couldn't find the size I wanted all I had to do was ask and more were located. Friendly staff, wonderful service.
