We found The Pig on the Beach very…. average. It started well in the fact that we got a table, and it was a table upstairs so we could admire the view. Menu isn't massive, but that was fine, we knew that before going in. Once you have decided what you want, you pop down to the bar (downstairs) with your table number and order – nothing overly unusual about this.We ordered a kids mac n cheese, kids fish and chips, a kebab, and a beach burger. Kids meals are a tad over £7 each, so not cheap. Unfortunately, one of the kids didn't like their mac n cheese, so we gave them some of the adult food – we tried the mac n cheese and to be fair, it wasn't great. My other child, who had the fish and chips, got full (she's only little!) so left a lot of the fish, it had a lot of batter on it so to be fair she hadn't actually left a lot of actual fish. We tried what she had left, but again wasn't impressed (we had fish the day before and it was far far better). Wife thinks it was probably a frozen one – I have no idea on these things, but I can say it wasn't great. Thankfully, the adult meals were a lot better – but still not outstanding or anything. What the Pig on the Beach has got is a good selection of drinks. There is plenty of choice here – just a shame that we were on parenting duties!I wouldn't rush back for food, but if I was going out for a drink, this would still be an option for me.

Nice clean bar overlooking the westward Ho! Beach. Nice selection of beers and wine. Good food and nice atmosphere. Friendly efficient staff in a busy tourist location. One small criticism, they only except cards, no cash

What a lovely place. Staff are all amazingly friendly and the food was absolutely gorgeous ( great portion sizes too ). Also – love the decor, particularly the lights!

Poor food quality bought out 2 burgers at first should of been one burger and one kebab. Apparently remade the burger (same burger which came out cold!) and a new kebab (which the chicken was raw!) The kebab was sent back for a fresh one (still raw!!) Very quite evening so no excuse for poor food quality standard. The chips were lovely and one exception being the lovely lady (who's name we didn't get) with black hair who couldn't apologies enough! Avoid at all cost for food! Just good for a drink whilst watching the sun set!!
