Found this little gem 💎 on a booking site. I booked for a surprise weekend for my husband. We had an amazing time. Could not fault anything. Food was lovely. Room was nice and very clean . Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. So thank you for making us feel so welcome…

Perfect location, very big car park with plenty of spaces . Our room was lovely, very clean with gorgeous furniture and a super comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful , very hard working too. The food was lovely, and there is a very good vegan and vegetarian selection.

Visited here 3 times on our holiday, the food was lovely and portions were big too.Service was great too, and loved the option of sitting indoors (even with a dog and children) or outdoors too. The outdoor areas is also undercover which is great for sunny or cold days as it keeps the sun and wind off you.Would visit again if I was passing or in the area again.

The Sunday carvery was lovely, a nice selection of meats and the cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes were great. Nice range of cider on tap, can recommend the blood orange cider. Lots of space and seating and we ordered via the barcode and then just went up to the carvery , it was very easy .

Bit disappointed with today's visit, only the second time but won't be a third time. First visit was good so came back . Staff not very friendly, table was very sticky so sticky in fact my arms and menu stuck to the table which would be handy in a strong wind ! I had the pork and apple sauce sandwich, bread was dry and the apple sauce must have had the day off as it didn't make it to the sandwich.
