Absolutely fantastic experience at the Watergate Inn in Westward Ho! The food was incredible, with every dish perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The drinks selection was equally impressive, offering a variety of options to suit every taste. Despite the high quality, the prices were very reasonable, making it great value for money. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. 5 stars!

Needed to grab some dinner with the family and this is situated nicely by the beach. However the food is lacking in quality. We ordered pizzas and they were pretty gross. Boring frozen bases with loads of cheap cheese chucked on and no flavour. We had nachos too which had an unidentified creamy layer which wasn't pleasant. We didn't eat much of that. It's 2024…times have moved on…proper pizza is easy to find everywhere now, so it was like going back in time eating cardboard pizza on sticky tables. Definitely won't be going back, bizarre. Wanted to write this review as it's a nice spot and the food should be better. Seems like they probably get away with being in a hotspot so they're cutting corners.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much and IDs were checked which is great. 🥰🫶🏻 We also had the carvery which was delicious 😋 sorry didn't get a pic I was straight in there 😂 the only downside was the gravy was so salty 😣 I kept coughing so didn't get to finish it all as I drowned it in it as I love it that way. 🥺🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ My daughter had something off the menu and she loved it but because the queue for the carvery was sooo long she'd almost finished by the time we got back. Maybe more staff serving the meat might help. 🤔🫶🏻 Yes I would go here again and watch how much gravy I used 🤣 or try something off the menu next time as the place was packed so that speaks for it self… 🥰🫶🏻👍🏻😋

Stopped in for a quick lunch and a game or two of pool, got there inbetween service breakfast / lunch so we had a 30 minute wait before ordering any main menu items, which was fine with us we grabbed a drink and headed to the games room.Games room had 4 pool tables and plenty of other games also to play, separate from them bar / restaurant too, its is own building which makes a nice difference.Once we hit lunch time I ordered a cheese and bean jacket potato at first the price shocked me a little, but when food arrived there was no skimping on the quantity, and also the quality was decent also. Not my biggest review but I enjoyed it nice solid lunch, plenty of cheese and beans and a good helping of dressed side salad which was nice!Overall I would score it 7.5/10, if you’re looking for a quick lunch, without all bells and whistles and couple of drinks with nice big garden and somehere for kids to play this is great, but also nice and quiet areas of restaurant if you want a Sunday carvery in peace.

Had a lovely one night stay at the Waterfront Inn. As we stayed on a Thursday night we were lucky enough to be there for the mid week carvery and it was fantastic value for money at just over £10 each. The room was clean, tidy and cosy and we couldn't hear any outside noise (we were at the back). The breakfast was really good too with tasty produce and well presented. Honestly could not find a negative in anything apart from the outside blue walls needing a lick of paint so really happy with our stay.
