This was a lovely experience. We went to Hartland on a blustery day and were delighted to see the place was open and serving lunch. It was warm and welcoming. Their views out of the window were lovely. The food had a homecooked vibe that was made with quality ingredients. I would heartily recommend this venue and Hartland Quay itself.

Lovely traditional pub, all staff friendly and helpful. Good selection of traditional pub food at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit when you also consider the views

I love the situation of the Wreckers Retreat. We have visited it a lot . It almost hangs off the stunning cliff formations. Very old , good car park, good Pub Grub, and lots of outside seating. It was crowded when we dropped in for lunch, but as I was cold, they kindly told us as soon as a table vacated. So lovely lunch, and took some more photos of the rocks.
