I highly recommend Make Waves for swimming and soft play. My daughter and I have been attending since she was 5 months old (she's now 2!), and we look forward to our weekly trip. The instructors are very knowledgeable and understanding of individual skills and needs, the soft play Cafe and area is always clean and well looked after. My little one can safely play while I enjoy a coffee!

It's a really lovely soft-play area we have visited quite a few times so we decided to book a birthday party for our son there. The website said it would be £12.95 per child including the entrance fee and food, which is what other places such as WOW charge. When I rang to book the party however, I was told that the prices had changed as of that day and were now £149 for a party including 10 children. Though that was 15% more than the website said I thought "ok, we have 10 children coming, we can just about do that". I was just about to pay the deposit when the member of staff then asked if I wanted food and that that was an extra £6.50 per child… – I asked a couple of times if that was correct that the price had increased from the advertised £12.95 to effectively £21.40 per child and was told that this was correct and because of the decorations they put out… I'm sorry, but I cannot believe that decorations are worth an extra £65. However, after this really disappointing conversation we had to find a different venue and at this point I have to say that the staff at World of Wonder was absolutely fantastic, arranging an extra slot for us so we could still give our son a nice party.

Absolutely fuming Called today at around 12.30 to arrange to bring my children to play. Arrived at 15.00 and paid to get in 30 minutes later a young man comes over and explains that we need to leave as they have over booked for a party. Was only offered £9.00 back for a refund. Will not be going again.

My niece swims here and it's great she's come so far and the soft play is just an added bonus
