On a family holiday and we wanted Fish and chips. Found this place only 7 minutes drive from campsite. Well worth it. We have never had better Fish and chips. Fish was huge so nice and freshly cooked chips were delicious too. Would highly recommend this place and if we come back on holiday here will definitely go back.

Really impressed with our meals this evening. Was a little concerned as had read a few bad reviews re portion size etc and am a bit confused about that! Both my daughters had kids meals which were more than enough for them. They also came with sides so had a big tub of peas each. I had the scampi and chips which in my mind was a large portion and I couldn't manage all the chips! Ordered online and really happy with the food and service thank you.

Absolutely not what it seems people must be deluded if they think this chip shop is nice.. my partner had a burger and it was soggy with fat dripping chips dry scraps and curry sauce what was it?? I'm sorry but everybody need be warned no bs here just a visitor on holiday not a local.. service was like you walk in order but all locals come in and they get the food before you.. so very rude.. what a absolute disappointment seriously puke..

Everyone goes on about how great their chippy is; it seems quite hard to find a bad one these days. But I can genuinely say that Woolsery chips are the best I have ever eaten. If you are not a fan of soggy, white chips that beg for more time in the fryer then this is the place you. Wonderfully golden, crispy and delicious. The fish was of course fantastic too.Wife and daughter chose burgers which were absolutely amazing too. You really would be hard pressed to find a better fish and chip shop anywhere. And the Farmers Arms – attached and run by the same team – is stunning too. This small village is a foodie must visit!
