Best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Light, not too oily, cooked fresh to order and the beef burgers are out of this world. Would recommend to anyone

Always happy when I visit the chip shop. Great food, friendly service and love I can grab a beer in the Farmers Arms adjacent to the chip shop and order my food online with a designated time slot. When it first opened I was a regular for the scampi and chips on a Friday lunch time, working from home I made the most of fish and chips Friday. But what’s great are the alternatives to your chip shop regulars and the locally sourced and produce. The burger is fantastic.

Ordered take away. Arrived slightly early but received a warm welcome from the friendly, attentive staff. Food was excellent, fresh, high quality and the curry sauce was homemade and delicious- such a difference from the usual bland sauce from a packet! Not the cheapest but well worth it – highly recommend

Amazing staff, but chips weren't nice. The chips were dry even tho I added salt & vinger, and I found 2 maggots in 2 separate chips I had, also 2 of my family members found maggots in the chips they had.My curry sauce had too many bits in (onions or something), but way too much & my batterd sausages were burnt under the batter, and the batter just crumbled off in bits soon as I bit into them.Welcoming staff and very helpful & friendly

Choose to grab fish and chips here after a long day out and lots of driving and after roughly reading some brilliant reviews online. On arrival we clocked the prices (expensive 🫰) and assumed this food will be top notch. They certainly look busy which is normally a good sign. Got home and realised the people of Devon must have taste issues or to much spare cash that they don't mind wasting it on rock hard chips and 9.50 'cod' (not convinced it was cod). Any chip shop I've ever eaten at offers portion sizes. Small or large. This chippy doesn't. It's all one price. So because of that I expected at least medium if not large. The size was small for a child. I attempted to eat it but it was totally taste less and dripping in oil. Chips were cold and rock hard. The bin had a great dinner while I did myself some toast instead. Avoid avoid avoid
