Yeo Valley Community Woodland is a twenty-four acre community site located at 64 Derby Rd in Barnstaple, Devon
It was created in part as a response to local requests to create a publicly accessible green space and also to celebrate woodland, which is endangered in the region
Featuring beautiful grassy meadows, ancient woodlands and riverbanks, it’s a place where people can explore nature, relax and be inspired by its beauty
The site also includes a range of trails for walking and running, an outdoor art space with benches for enjoying the views, as well as picnic sites and interpretation boards providing information about the woodland’s history and ecology
Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stroll or an educational visit, Yeo Valley Community Woodland is the perfect destination to enjoy and learn about nature in all its beauty
