The Big Lunch Ilfracombe (June 4, 2023)

Celebrate community spirit at The Big Lunch on Fore Street, Ilfracombe, Devon, on the 4th of June, 2023.

This one-day event, an initiative from the Eden Project, encourages neighbours across the UK to come together for an afternoon of food, friendship, and fun.

A Street Party in Fore Street

For The Big Lunch, Fore Street will transform into a bustling street party, closed to traffic for the day.

The event is organized by The Friends of Fore Street, a community organization with a mission to raise the profile of Ilfracombe’s oldest street.

Food, Fun, and Music

Starting at one o’clock, and continuing throughout the afternoon and into the evening, join us outside the Prince of Wales and the George and Dragon for an unforgettable event.

Enjoy food, fun, and live music from talented local performers. Everyone is welcome; all you need to do is bring some food to share.

Support the Local Food Bank

In the spirit of community, there will also be a collection for the local Food Bank. So, come along, bring a few quid, a bit of food, and meet your neighbours.
