9 Reasons Why You Should Absolutely AVOID Lundy Island

Marisco Castle

Are you considering a visit to Lundy Island in Devon? We’re telling you, there’s absolutely nothing to see or do here.

The island is practically deserted

Who would want to enjoy a day without crowds or noise pollution?

The seals are far too friendly

They come right up to the shore and interact with visitors. Sounds like a real inconvenience.

Dolphins in the surrounding waters are just too playful

Always jumping and swimming around. Seriously, who needs that kind of joy? You might get wet.

The unspoilt landscape is just too…unspoilt

It’s all just rolling green hills, blue waters, and beautiful views. Yawn.

The wildlife is overly abundant

Birds, deer, rabbits, butterflies… it’s like some sort of nature reserve.

Just look at these puffins strutting their stuff thinking they own the joint or sommat.

The tranquillity is simply unbearable

Peace and quiet can be so dull, don’t you think?

The boat ride to Lundy Island is just too scenic

Stunning views of the Devon coastline and a chance to spot marine wildlife? Sounds terribly monotonous. Especially on this rubber “ducky boat” called MS Oldenburg.

Lundy Island is just too remote

An island getaway without all the hustle and bustle of city life? Who would want such tranquillity?

In conclusion, Lundy Island is simply the worst

You should absolutely never visit this awful, beautiful, peaceful, and wildlife-filled place called Lundy Island.

One to miss.

Stay at home, in the dark.

Nature can keep the outdoors to itself.
