Bideford Library
Bideford Library, located in a beautiful Grade II listed building in Devon, was established in 1905 as a gift from the famous library benefactor Andrew Carnegie. Open five days a week, the library offers a wide range of services for both adults and children. With over 200 visitors daily, the main library offers a bustling environment, while the non-fiction room provides a quieter space with tables and public access computers.
A dedicated children’s library offers an excellent selection of books and activities, including regular story times, a Lego Club, and Raspberry Pi events. The library also hosts a variety of other events such as book groups, tea and IT sessions, knit and natter gatherings, and linocut workshops.
Bideford Library provides essential services like free public computers and WiFi, printing, copying and scanning facilities, self-service machines, and a home library service. Visit Bideford Library to experience a welcoming and enriching environment for all ages.
