Just stayed at The Brookfield for the past 2 nights, and as previous comments, it was superb. Lovely ensuite room at the front and super continental breakfast. Chris, the host was very knowledgeable on the area and suggested we walk to Velator Quay, so pleased we did, it was amazing. An excellent stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding we were attending. The Brookfield is a lovely building and easy to find. We parked in the allocated off road parking and we’re created with a warm welcome by the owners. Really lovely people. The house itself is pristine and has everything you need. Bed is super comfy and bathroom facilities were clean and fully operational. The room itself was light and airy. Breakfast was a continental style with more than enough for most people. We had a fantastic stay and we’re definitely stay again when visiting family here in Braunton.

Pleasant, helpful, good size room, lovely hot water shower and bath! Would stay again and recommend to others. Ample food even for a continental breakfast! Only quibble (which has nothing to do with Lodge?) Is the road travel to Ash Barton estate and little to no taxis!?

We stayed at the Brookfield as part of a wedding weekend. Unfortunately the biggest storm in 30 years hit the area and wiped out power and water at the wedding venue! All guests staying at the venue had to shower elsewhere and Chris kindly allowed the best man and family access to shower and get ready! They honestly helped to save the day (power was restored one hour before the start of the wedding!) Thank you so muchThe location is excellent, a short walk away from pubs shops etcThe B&B is beautiful and spotless. It is excellent value for money. It has a big driveway which is handy as parking is difficult in the areaWill visit again (when the weathers better!)
