Nice place to stay with the family. The location is in the middle of nowhere and you will definitely need a car to get to and from places. The nearest town with any shops etc is probably around 15min drive away. We had a one bedroom apartment for our stay, which looked as though it had recently been refurbished. The apartment had everything you could need inside it, my only complaint would be that the shower could have been cleaned a bit better before our arrival. There is also a restaurant and bar onsite which we used when we first arrived, the food and service was brilliant. There is also a gym and swimming pool onsite, both if which could probably do with a freshen up.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we found the staff very helpful. My only complaint is that we arrived at the check in desk at around 5pm only to be told the room wasn't ready. I found this very disappointing as we had been on the road for around 7hrs with kids and we were all tired and just wanted to rest. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm so why wasn't our apartment ready 1hr later? I found this unacceptable, what if I had decided to check out 1hr later? I'm sure they would have tried charging me more money, so I find it unfair that they don't have the apartment ready 1hr after my check in time.

Our family loved staying here. We made Peacock and Duck friends within 5 minutes of arrival. The pool/sauna/steam room area is very clean and a decent size. It's also open til 7pm for non members. Bring extra towels as they only provide for their Diamond club so you'll need to use your room ones otherwise. Definitely visit the pub next foor as the food is delicious. The farm shop is run by the most friendly staff and is very reasonably priced. The fresh baked pastries in the morning are worth popping in for. Nothing really to eat / see / do in the immediate area but loads within half an hours car ride. The lodges are spacious, comfy and immaculate. Will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very nice facilities, but very poor service. We stayed on a 2 bedroom house – very spacious with well equipped kitchen and washing machine. It's a nice green area with ducks and peacocks walking around. The hotel also has a nice playground for small kids and a very nice pool, but the day after we arrived they unexpectedly started to operate bookings slots, and although we always managed to get the time we wanted, having to leave after only an hour with kids on the pool is quite frustrating. Also we had a massive issue with housekeeping. They were supposed to clean the house twice during our stay but not a single time it was cleaned. Every day I would call reception in the evening to say no one came, they will say next day but nothing. The day before we left we got back to a weird scene. There was a bag of bin bags on the table. They took out one of the bins but left the bag (with litter inside) just next to the dining table (!) The kitchen bin wasn't emptied at all – and clearly they didn't clean anything else as everything else exactly as we left. They operated a phone messaging system but again, loads of push messages but when you needed a reply they were very never slow to answer. In summary, good place, horrible service.

A great meal with friends – we pre-ordered the surf and Turf sharer platters, which were stunning. The beef was cooked to perfection and the lobster also delicious. The sides and sauces finished the meal off perfectly. We also had starters and pudding and enjoyed everything equally as much. Friendly staff and great service too. We'll definitely be back!

Superb holiday for 5 days. Great apartment. Designated car park space. Facilities used by us were: Pool, jacuzzi, steam room , sauna. All clean and working (warning. – take your own towel) Restaurant was a bit pricey but seems popular. Residential peacocks with babies too
