An absolutely stunning walk. But if you have mobility issues it's not a walk for you it can get very muddy & slippery and very steep walking in places. But it is beautiful there.

Beautiful tranquil and restorative. Spent a couple of happy hours enjoying seeking out the treasures of autumn. Will be back soon. 3 butterflies spotted too – one Speckled wood one large white and one red admiral. Always a gorgeous spot and with apparently few visitors. Some fungi attached to this. Highly recommended for those who enjoy nature.

We went on a glorious sunny spring day, stunning views of the river Torridge. Some steep hills to get back up but most should be able to do. Bluebells and wild garlic aplenty. Free parking and no fee.

Beautiful part of countryside. Lovely lake. Gorgeous nature. Need to be fit though as some parts are steep. Allow 2 hours to really immerse yourself!
