Situated just 50 meters from Westward Ho! beach, this family-run business is a “Centre of Excellence” as recognized by the UK surfing governing body. If you or your children want to try surfing then absolutely check these folks out.Couldn't have asked for more. From booking to waving goodbye the folks were excellent. Pleasant to deal with, it was obvious through the humour (we'll call it humour boys!) that they have sensible heads on their shoulders where everyone's safety and engagement are concerned.Sent an email checking for availability on the Sunday and booked a 2 hour absolute beginner session for three grown children on the Tuesday. Arrived and they got kitted out with no fuss, a short walk to the beach for the dry land instruction and then quickly to the majority of the time in the sea practising with guidance. It was good to see that where some people struggled they received encouragement and advice for them to make the most out of it.

What an awesome Instructor you are Steve… My two children and Husband absolutely loved their lesson with you today. From the moment we arrived you looked after us, your friendly and welcoming manner, plus the jokes 😉 made it an amazing experience for my family. Keep smiling Steve you are one of life's treasures. My 14 Yr old son wanted to give surfing a go and we found this surf school. It was very easy to book, reasonable price, and when we got there, the staff were all very prepared and really friendly. They provided all of the equipment needed and it all looked very well looked after. My son did the 2 hour lesson and came back raving about the experience. Highly recommended if you want to learn to surf in North Devon.

Our two boys aged 13 and 11 had an amazing time. Although boys were slightly apprehensive going to lesson, Stu put them and ease and was a fantastic teacher. Would thoroughly recommend this experience.

I've wanted to surf for over 20 years, but never felt fit enough and also live in the landlocked Midlands! I turned 40 in August, so my sister agreed to have a lesson with me on holiday. Steve was an incredible instructor, and we were lucky enough to have him all to himself. We were both really nervous, but they made us feel so comfortable (including the other guy at the school whose name I've forgotten). We were buzzing afterwards and now both have the surfing bug, thank you! 🌊😍
