Great Park, play areas, dog walking areas, lovely walks along the river front. Rock Park is an urban park in Barnstaple, Devon, England. The park was donated to the public by William Frederick Rock and opened in 1879. It has a number of listed structures including an obelisk at the entrance to the park, a lodge and a range of historic lamp posts

Very much enjoyed Armed Forces Day. Saw the Red Arrows fly past and enjoyed the stalls.I used the toilet although I couldn't find a light. There was an adult outdoor gym which had well oiled moving parts. The children's playground was popular too.
Fantastic place while on holiday I've walked my dogs here, very clean lovely space. And park facilities for children.
It's a Very Big Park around where we live, It's always nice to go for a walk or just chill. it has a play area for Kids, A Basketball Net and a Huuggeee Area if one is Planning to Play Football.

We were quite impressed on arriving at Rock park with the selection of play equipment available. Aside from the zip wire being broken (which is often the case in public parks anyway) the equipment was in pretty good condition and there was lots of seating for parents. There's also lovely views down the river which runs alongside it. There's a little brick building adjacent to the play area with toilets and a kiosk selling icecreams, hot and cold drinks, chocolates, sweets, crisps etc (all quite reasonably priced). The only issue with this park is the parking. There's a single lane road around the side which cars park on – it was very busy so quite difficult to find a spot to park and then when it was time to leave we had to drive all the way to the end of the road to find somewhere to be able to turn around, then trying to get back out was a challenge as there were cars either also trying to leave and find somewhere to turn around, or just arriving a d looking for a parking space so we kept encountering cars coming the other way on this single lane road without anywhere to really pass them safely.
