Stunning beach. We rented a hut for £30. Collection was from 9:30am with key handing back at 4:30 but it’s a padlock so you can stay as long as you like! Esplanade parking was fairly pricey at £12 for the day, but we were able to park right near the entrance to the beach so it was worth it. Dogs are allowed to the left of the stream on leads, and off lead to the left of the rocks around 400m down the beach. Ice cream van and food van also on the beach was handy. Couldn’t fault anything, toilets at the entrance as well. All in all, one of the best beaches I’ve been on in the UK.

Very cool place. Water is really clean and sandy beach. You can hire surfing board from the beach entrance. That might cost you 10 pounds for 2 hours. Which is pretty handy. This area has really big car parking open ground by the side of hill. View from there is amazing. There's no restaurant nearby, so you have to bring food with you or you might have to drive for 20-30 minutes to get a sweet able restaurant.

I’m a real beach person. And north Devon beaches are some of my favourites. But out them all I love Woolacombe most! I don’t know what it is but it has everything. Surfing, camping a stones throw away. Parking is good except off season when you have to take your chances on the nearby roads. I would well recommend a visit.

We recently stayed at the Watersmeet Hotel for a short Easter break. It is a beautiful hotel next to the quiet Combesgate beach at the northern end of Woolacombe. The resturant and bistro both offer amazing food but dining in the panoramic resturant watching the sunset was definitely our favourite experience.
