Jenns Farm is a perfect rural retreat for exploring the beauty of two counties at once.

Here you’ll find an off-grid campsite surrounded by the rolling hills of Devon, just a few minutes’ drive to the village of Bradworthy, or a half-hour walk if you’re feeling energetic. It’s also just 15 minutes’ drive to Bude in Cornwall, where some fantastic beaches and amazing surfing spots await.

This low-impact camping experience also offers plenty of amenities – compost toilets, eco-showers, and access to loads of fresh produce from the market garden. You’re also welcome to order bread, milk and eggs before your stay, and BBQs are allowed so you can get cooking up a storm with local ingredients.

Kids and dogs are welcome, provided they’re kept under control, and after 9pm it is only quiet noise in this dark sky area – perfect for some stargazing from the comfort of your tent. Moreover, campfires are permitted in designated areas and there’s even a fire circle where conversations can last long into the night.
