Stayed a week at the Lodge. The Farm does offer sites for campers but we didn't have any experience with that side of the accomodation. Sadly the lodge was not clean. We arrived early evening and spent the whole night cleaning the place. The carpet and coffee table was covered in crumbs. The bathroom floor was dirty. The sink area was covered in toothpaste stains. The kitchen area was grimy – from the microwave to the stove. The stainless steel bin had not been cleaned. I could go on… Understand that this was a working farm but the owners need to put some time into their lodge. It was a shame as it over shadowed our whole stay. There was no point in complaining as we feared that the owners might not have a problem with a basic standard of cleanliness. The lodge is in a great location for Exmoor and North Devon but could not stay here again.
