Lovely site and great location. Staff all very pleasant.Shop is well stocked and fairly priced. Shower/toilet blocks were fine.Didn't like that they won't let 13 year olds swim on their own without an adult. They will charge you full price to spectate and you have to sit with your legs in the pool. Ridiculous rule.Horse riding was fun once we found it but we did have fun trying to find it. Staff there are all lovely.

Fantastic camp site with great amenities. The Farm shop stocks a wide variety of items and fresh produce. The gripe I had with the farm shop is I thought it would have sold local produced products like: Locally produced Milk/ butchers items and cheeses, especially with the amount of campers on site having BBQ's. But over all the shop served a purpose. The bar/ barn had great entertainment and good selection of beers to choose from. The entertainment in the Barn was good and kids loved the disco. The pitches are a great size and well maintained toilet/ shower blocks. I would def recommend to others and book again if we ever come back to Devon. The high light of Stowford farm is the stable's. My kids loved the hack out around the estate and the views are amazing. The owners are so accommodating and they even introduced us the other horses on the farm. This is a must do if your staying here.

The site cut their grass and leave cuttings everywhere so they will end up all in tents / caravans / motor homes! As the site is located fairly high, expect poor weather which we experienced. The pool is great, price reasonable and the pitch sizes are generous but on the whole I would stay somewhere closer to the beach next time we venture to N Devon or stay closer to Dartmoor.

The site is well kept and the showers/toilets are fairly decent. However, the organisation and staffing is simply the worst I've ever seen. Wanted to use the cafe, was told it's closed due to lack of staff. Ok, went to get a pizza, sorry, no staff. Went to get some bar food, no, sorry, no staff. Shame, you pick a location for the whole package but unfortunately we could only make use of the pitch and the toilet block. We won't be returning, paid extra for the other facilities but all closed, waste of money.

Definitely would come here again. It wasn't very busy and the weather was great so maybe that's why I was so very pleased with the campsite. I was over the moon. The pitch was tidy and spacious. There was a path leading to a nearby field and forest. The bathrooms were clean. Everything was nice and the site had loads more to offer but we only stayed a short time. Our late arrival experience was good. Easy to find the pitch. Checked in with the friendly receptionist in the morning. Everything was perfect during our stay.
