Charming and beautiful campsite. We camped four nights here as a family in one of the very spacious and well equipped deluxe pitches. We were unlucky with the weather but the setting, location, and friendly welcome from the hosts more than made up for it. Highly recommended!

Rustic campsite, we had a lovely relaxing time. We walked over to meet the pony's and they were so friendly. We were able to stroke them and it was the highlight of our stay. We also had a look at the alpacas and it was nice to see that they had so much space. Its clear that they really look after and care about the animals here.

The kids loved it. The cottage (stables) was great. Lots of spaces and great choice of games for the kids on rainy days. The fire place was well used and the animal farm great for the kids. They went every morning to feed the animals ( alpaca, goats, pigs). Trampoline, go cart and pool table or table tennis were great to entertain them.

This campsite is absolutely idyllic. The setting on rolling hills surrounded by animals is so calm and peaceful. The owners were friendly, calm and easy going. Making pizzas on the beautiful terrace with the children playing happily on trampolines and equipment is a special memory. It’s low key but really tastefully done – we absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back already!

We stayed here in May for a long weekend in the Owl Barn and my goodness what an absolute gem of a place this is. We were visiting family in Ilfracombe looking for accommodation we could all meet and have a BBQ in and this was perfect. We fit 4 adults comfortably and the owl barn was clean, spacious and the views are simply gorgeous.Wake up in the morning open up the back doors and you're treated to far reaching views of green fields and friendly animals, including horses, alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs and a very friendly dog and some cats. The garden is the perfect sun spot to chill and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst cooking up a bbq. The barn itself was equipped with very comfy beds, plenty of linen, towels, some thoughtful necessities (hand soap, washing up liquid, oil) and even some board games. What really made this special for us was just how friendly and welcoming Alex our host was. Welcomed on arrival, available on site when needed and full of local knowledge. She even brought us to feed the alpacas which was lovely. We took Alex's advice when mentioning we were seeking the Tarka bike trail, parking up in Fremington Quay and cycling 15 miles to Bideford and back it was a lovely flat part of the trail.Thank you for a lovely stay and for all youre doing supporting the local community we'll definitely be back again!
