Nestled on a hilltop on the outskirts of picturesque Appledore and just a 10-minute drive away from the beaches of Westward Ho!, this dog-friendly spot offers some serious downtime right on your doorstep.
It’s a working farm run by Michael and Michelle Davey, camping at its finest, clear skies, views for miles and the odd mooooooooooooo in the morning!
Take a stroll to the estuary to watch the boats head off, enjoy some delicious food and drinks at the local pubs and go crabbing with the kids at high tide around Appledore’s Quay. You can even catch a ferry to Instow!
This pop-up site offers small-scale peace and quiet where you can recharge your batteries without missing out on the buzz. Three fields await, each with its own special charm – the further two offer stunning ocean views. For facilities, there are four portaloos and two gas-powered showers. Perfect for families and couples alike – just remember to keep the pups on a lead and clean up after them.
