Lovely place. Clean, tidy. Love the farm animals. Access easy by car, but not the easiest place to get to if cycling or walking. Whilst the accommodation is a long way from the main road and the traffic can't be heard, there is no pavement and car speeds are high.

We have just returned from our first camping stay at Mullacot farm and can only praise the rustic, back to nature, feel of the place. If you are looking for all the mod cons with swish facilities then do not come here! But if, like us, you're wanting to get away from it all, be immersed in nature, and have plenty of space to breeeeathe, with sincere hosts who let you get on with it, then this is the place to be.With rich flora and fauna the wildlife was abundant, aside from the resident ducks, chickens, goats, horses, we spied many buzzards, bats, crickets, and a gorgeous grass snake who kept my son very entertained while picking blackberries from the hedgerow. We marvelled at the night sky and relished both the sunsets and sunrises. Truly glorious. There is a very basic toilet block with a couple of toilets for males/females and showers that give enough of a trickle to have a decent was off. Fresh drinking water and plenty of bins but do remember your torches as the fields aren't lit – thankfully – and washing up paraphernalia as this site really is a all about retaining the rustic feel.As other's have commented, if you want to enjoy the distant sea view, you will pick up road noise but there's acres upon acres so you can forego the view for a more tranquil pitch. The land is undulating in keeping with the Devonshire rolling countryside but there's are flat spots to pitch upon.Next door is a great riding centre, my son enjoyed an hour hack around the farm for £30, or for experienced riders they offer fast beach rides. With a Tesco only 7 minutes away and many beautiful beaches and coves to explore, this is a site we are all looking forward to returning to very soon.
